Introduction to LGBTQI+ inclusion in Sport and Movement 

When: Thursday 31st August, 7-8:30pm

This session, presented by Proud2Play will help prepare participants with an introduction to LGBTQI+ inclusion in sport and movement settings. The session is ideal for those organisations or individuals who have never engaged in LGBTQI+ inclusion, or recently started working with LGBTQI+ communities.

Key learning units will include:

-Introduction to working with LGBTQI+ communities
-LGBTQI+ inclusive language and terminology
-LGBTQI+ people’s experiences in sport and movement settings

As per our 2023-2026 strategic plan, Calisthenics Victoria has a large focus on Diversity and Inclusion. We encourage senior leadership, committee and executive members at clubs to attend this educational session to learn more about what you can do in this space at a club level.
