A range of grants and funding are available to support sport and recreation in Victoria from local community clubs through to the elite level.

VicHealth - Growing Healthy Communities Grant 

VicHealth is investing in local programs that support Victoria’s children, young people and their families facing structural barriers to good health. 

Key Dates: 

Applications open: 9am Wednesday 3 July

Applications close: 5pm Wednesday 31 July

December 2024: Funding notifications

January 2025 to January 2027: Delivery of projects

Canva Nonprofit Program

Canva is used and loved by millions of people around the globe. They provide everything you need for amazing design: Social Media Graphics, Layouts, Templates, Illustrations & Images, Photo Filters, Icons and Shapes, and Fonts.

Canva believes in helping charities and philanthropic organizations all over the world bridge the gap between their mission and their audience.

As a way to give back to the community, Canva offers free Canva for Work access for up to 10 members to eligible nonprofit organizations. Eligible nonprofit organizations with proper documentation qualify to get free Canva for Work access.

Project Defib

Red Cross provides every sporting club, school and not for profit in Australia with an opportunity to access a $1600.00 subsidy to put towards the latest Lifeline VIEW Defibrillator package.

There is no limit to the number of subsidies that any eligible sporting club, school or not for profit can receive. Your location may require more than one device depending on the distance and time it takes to retrieve a device. If you purchase 3 defibrillator packages, you will receive 3 x $1600 subsidies.

Australian Sports Foundation – Fundraising4Sport (F4S)

The ASF operates the Fundraising4Sport program which assists the development of sport in Australia. Specifically, the program aims to increase opportunities for Australians to: participate in sport and/or excel in sports performance.
