The New Child Safe Standards replace the previous 7 standards in Victoria and are aimed at better protecting children and young people from abuse and are designed to embed Child Safety throughout sporting clubs and communities.

The new standards have applied since July 1, 2022 and all clubs have a responsibility to implement them.
