Calisthenics Victoria introduced a new Solo/Duo/Trio stream in 2024 – CaliStars Solos! 

This stream is designed for performers living with a disability (physical and/or intellectual) who wish to compete in solos but feel the current competitive environment is not suited to their needs.

I just wanted to send my sincere and heartfelt thank you for this weekends CaliStars event.

As a mum to two special needs girls, they have never felt comfortable at the thought of competing in the regular calisthenics competitions or recreational stream, so this weekend was their very first time on stage in a competition setting.

To have their coaches by their side and options of being able to change things up if there were any meltdowns or wobbly emotional moments meant the world to me as a parent, thank you.

I’m looking forward to future CaliStars competitions and I have no doubt that word will spread and numbers will grow astronomically in years to come.
