2017 Coach and State Team Manager applications open
In the Strategic Plan 2016 -2018, Calisthenics Victoria Incorporated (CVI) have committed to sending a State Team to the Australian Calisthenic Federation (ACF) National Championships in 2017.
To begin creating the most skilful Victorian State Team, we are delighted to launch the application process for the 2017 Victorian State Team Coaches and State Team Manager.Please read more about these important roles and download the application forms, expression of interest forms and position description via www.calisthenics.asn.au/State-Team-2017
Please note the venue and location of the 2017 National Championships is to be confirmed by the ACF.
Applications for both State Team Manager and Coaches close Monday 1 August at 5 pm. All Application Forms and Expressions of Interest should be emailed to email@example.com
Once the above key positions have been filled, recruitment will begin for participation in the 2017 Victorian State Team.
Lucinda Williams named 2016 ACF Coach of the Year
Congratulations to Victorian Coach, Lucinda Williams on being awarded the 2016 Australian Calisthenic Federation (ACF) Coach of the Year.
Lucinda Williams currently coaches the Cali Tots, Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors at Jeaden Calisthenics College.
Lucinda's calisthenics achievements include:
· RSSS Graceful Girl;
· National Senior Graceful Winner;
· A score of 99% for her Gold Medal Honours;
· Coach of the Victorian State Team on many occasions;
· Victorian Skills Coach of the Year in 2010;
· Victorian Calisthenic Coach of the Year in 2009 & 2014;
· Member of the Examiners Advisory Board (EAB);
· Skills Program Coach, with two gold medallists presenting for their honours at the CVI Victorian State Championships in 2016;
· Winner of 17 State Championships Titles in Graceful and Calisthenic solos; and
· Coach of many successful soloists at State and National levels.
Lucinda Williams says, "I'm so honoured to have received this prestigious award at the ACF Nationals in Adelaide earlier this month. Calisthenics is a massive part of my life and to be recognised this way in our wonderful sport is so incredibly special. I'd like to thank VCCA, Kirrilly Wootton and the Jeaden senior team for the nomination as well as my mum for everything she's taught me. If I'm half the coach she is, that is an achievement in itself."
Victorian Calisthenics Coaches Association (VCCA) President, Judi Baird said, “Lucinda is a highly respected and wonderful coach who has dedicated much of her time and expertise to the development of Calisthenics, not only in Victoria, but Australia wide. On behalf of the VCCA, we would like to congratulate her on this prestigious award.”
