Victorian Calisthenics Team Competition Review Survey

Calisthenics Victoria Inc. (CVI) is working with Vicsport to conduct a strategic review into the CVI Victorian Teams Competitions.

Join the CVI Grading (Teams) Committee

Applications to join the CVI Grading Committee as a General Member (from March 2017) have been extended to Friday, 18 November 2016 at 5pm.

The CVI Grading Committee assesses and evaluates clubs and teams in each age group (section) and division of Calisthenics with the purpose of ensuring a comparable standard of skill level within each section and division. The committee reports to the CVI Board through the CVI Director of Competitions.

CVI Branding and Website Project Working Party

Calisthenics Victoria is currently working towards developing a fresh, energetic brand for Calisthenics Victoria in 2017 as well looking at different avenues to improve communication to our membership.

In order to create a brand that best represents Calisthenics in Victoria, we need a project that has a strong commitment to consultation and engagement.  A Project Working party consisting of members from different key stakeholder groups will be established to provide guidance, direction and control to the project.

The 2016 Melbourne Metropolitan Team Competitions finish this weekend with the Westernport Competitions.

Running for over 30 years, the Westernport Calisthenics Competition starts today and runs until 16 October at the Langwarrin Performing Arts Centre (LPAC), Elizabeth Murdoch College, Warrandyte Road, Langwarrin.

Competition Convenor, June Pearson, says “we are known for being a very friendly competition.  Our canteen in renowned for our fabulous cakes and we offer a large variety of food. We welcome and look forward to all participants, coaches and their families being part of our competition.”

Greater Valley Competition starts today!

Celebrating 20 years of competitions in 2016, the Greater Valley Competition starts today and runs till Sunday 9 October at the East Bank Performing Arts Centre in Shepparton.

Jodie Bray, Competition Convener and  member of Greater Valley Calisthenics Club says, “We are looking forward to seeing the beautiful competitors, coaches and supporters at our wonderful competition.”

Historic Royal South Street Competition starts tomorrow!

The Royal South Street Society Calisthenics Competition starts on the 2nd of October and runs through until Saturday 29th October at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat.
