Celebrating Everything Calisthenics!

In the spectacular setting of the Myer Mural Hall, surrounded by murals celebrating women in the arts, literature, history, fashion, opera, drama and of course, sport, we celebrated all things calisthenics.  From our State Team Performers to our Coaches, and from our Adjudicators to our Gold Medallists, it was an afternoon of true thanks and celebration.  We announced our Volunteer Award winners, Life Memberships, 2017 Ambassador and launched Calisthenics Victoria’s new brand.  It was a busy afternoon!

Meet Calisthenics Victoria's newest team member, Robyn Dawson.

Calisthenics Victoria is thrilled to present our new the Club and Community Development Manager and Education Manager, Robyne Dawson. Robyne will be working to support the development of Victorian calisthenic clubs, coaches and officials.

Robyne has worked in the Victorian Sports Industry in Coach and Official Education for over ten years and understands both the unique challenges and passion that coaches and clubs face in our sector. Most recently, Robyne has worked with the Olympic Martial Arts Sport of Judo and Taekwondo.

CVI State Championships Team Competition Schedule is now available!

The 2017 CVI State Championships team competition schedule is now available, two weeks earlier than in 2016 due to technological improvements and collaboration from the metropolitan team competition conveners.

Calisthenics volunteers dedicate their time throughout the year to ensure our sport continues to grow and develop. Volunteers may perform a variety of roles in calisthenics clubs and competitions across Victoria.

This is the third year Calisthenics Victoria will present the CVI Volunteer of the Year, Club Volunteer of the Year and Service to Calisthenics Award. These awards will be presented at Celebrating Calisthenics, along with the 2016 Calisthenics Ambassador, sponsored by Trybooking.

Top 20 Victorian finalists announced for RSSS Peace and Quiet Graceful Girl Solo Competition!

We are proud to announce the twenty Victorian finalists who have been invited to compete at Royal South Street’s Peace and Quiet Graceful Girl Solo Competition. On Sunday 23rd April the Senior Open Calisthenics Solo section at the 2017 Victorian State Championships were held by Calisthenics Victorian Inc.

The twenty finalists from Victoria in alphabetical order are;

We’re hiring!

Calisthenics Victoria has recently completed a Human Resources review, following the amalgamation between the Victorian Calisthenics Coaching Association and CVI.

A revised CVI staffing structure will be implemented to provide additional support for the VCCA membership, CVI affiliated clubs and calisthenics events.

CVI is now advertising two important, part-time positions – CVI Education Manager and CVI Club and Community Development Manager.
